smoking wet cigarettes

Giving up smoking might not be as severe as you fear, and for some it may pass within a few days. However, the side effects of quitting smoking are more rigorous as your body start to recover from the damage caused by smoking. For example, a wet chesty cough means you’re getting rid of the rubbish in your lungs and it’s important not to be afraid of what may happen to you when you give up smoking. You need to focus on the positive changes while the side effects of quitting smoking. Most smokers experience some withdrawal symptoms when giving up smoking. These vary from one person to another and can include irritability, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, coughing, restlessness, disturbed sleep and mouth ulcers etc. You don’t need to worry in this situation, and may use some quit smoking help like E Cigarette. The good thing is that your body starts feeling the benefits as soon as you’ve smoked your last cigarette.

The large majority of smokers report that they want to stop but almost nine out of ten smokers state that they want to quit because of a health concern. After health reasons, the next most common reason given for wanting to give up is a financial one. Financial issue sounds quite obvious, because this is one of the reasons that people are switching to E Cigarette. E Cig as it can be refilled by E Liquid is quite cost effective in comparison to tobacco cigarette. Probably around half of all smokers make at least one attempt to stop in a given year but only about 2-3% of smokers succeed in the long term. It is not clear why some attempts to stop succeed and others do not. Smoking fewer cigarettes per day, not needing to smoke first thing in the morning and not suffering from mental health problems, or other addictions are favorable signs.

Many smokers continue smoking not through free choice but because they are addicted to cigarettes. A large part of this addiction arises from dependence on nicotine delivered rapidly to the brain with each puff. Nicotine complied with the established criteria for defining an addictive substance. Addiction does not mean that it is impossible to stop doing something; it just means that there are powerful urges and needs that have to be overcome in order to do so. Anything that can strengthen the resolve to resist these urges and needs or reduce their frequency or intensity can help in overcoming the addiction.

Medications aim to help smokers to stop by reducing the chemically-driven need to smoke while at the same time not themselves providing the same satisfaction as smoking and so not becoming the object of dependence. The assumption is that all the time that the smoker is not taking in nicotine from cigarettes the brain is gradually getting back to normal so that when the course of medication is completed, most smokers will be able to deal with the motivation to smoke without help.

Does anybody know how to roll a cigar with “juicy blunts” tobacco leaves?

I found these at the flea market, and want to roll a cigar, but can’t get it to stick once it’s rolled.
They roll great and are very pliable, but just won’t stick!
I’ve licked it good enough, it won’t stick!
I’m just gonna get out a grape White Owl!

Usually all ya gots ta do is lick em real good.

Do you have a favorite FUNNY commercial?

An old one I remember was a Chesterfield King cigarette commercial with Snagle Puss. “Chesterfield Kind…the King that has Every thang!: Yes, they used to advertize cigarettes folks..it was once considered really cool.

I like the one of “Cingular” with the two men, one of them sitting on his chair in a Warehouse, checking over his phone that everything is “clear and ready” and his boss, walks by, sees him sitting there and tells him: “You’re fired”! LOL!!!

cigar marketing

Cigar is a cylindrical roll of tobacco. It is used in smoking with a wrapper leaf. Always, most expansive leaves are used in cigars. In terms of characteristics, it is stronger in odor and smoke. It bears pleasant flavor and good burning properties. As per historical evidences, cigar was introduced by Maya Indians in 10th century. Christopher Columbus and other explorers have revealed this fact in their notes.
?    Gustave Bock was a Dutch immigrant. He owned a cigar factory in Cuba in the 1830s. It is believed that it was the first to place a paper band around his cigars. It was just a paper ring with his signature.
?    Very soon, it prominently flourished and became very profitable business. However, now cigar rolling has become mechanized but still few prestigious companies adhere with traditional stuffs. They do mention phrase on the boxes such as ‘totalmente a mano (totally by hand) or hecho a mano (made by hand)’.

A glimpse upon manufacturing of premium Cigars
?    At first tobacco leaves pass through curing process and it takes approximately 25 to 45 days which depends upon climatic condition and construction of sheds or barns used to store harvested tobacco as well.
?    After curing, second process is fermentation. Under this process, major characteristics like flavor, burning, and aroma are primarily brought out in the leaf.
?    Once after properly being aged, leaves are used as filler. Under this process, these are continuously moistened and ensured proper utilization each leaf as per the quality.
?    Few premium brands cigars (viz. Acid Cigars, Padron Cigars, Ashton Cigars, Dominican Cigars) use special varieties of tobacco. For instance, long leaves are thoroughly used in long filler cigars which are supposed as higher quality of cigar.
?    For long term storage of cigar, lower storage temperature viz. 40C/400F is recommended. There are special storage boxes available in the market like wooden box or humidor. Such containers carefully control ideal conditions for longer period.

Packaging of cigars
?    The outermost portion or wrapper comes from the widest part of the plant and its color in itself speaks a lot about character and flavor of cigar. There is also a myth prevailing in the cigar market that the darker the wrapper, the fuller the flavor. One must keep in the mind that darkness refers to sweetness on the other hand light one means dryness to the taste.
?    Fillers are available in two forms either short or long. Recently an addition has been made of medium filler cigars. There is a special category of filler known as ‘sandwich or Cuban sandwich’. It is made by rolling short leaf inside long outer leaf.
?    Cigars are prominently categorized on the basis of shape and size and all together known as ‘vitola’. Few names under this category are Parejo, Figurado and little cigars.

After the development of printing industry, cigar got more vibrant looks and cigar companies prominently focused on branding of their products. During World War I, there was fall down in its popularity. But, it was remained for the very short span.

Why are there alcohol ads, but no cigarette ads. Alcohol will kill you too?

Alcohol is very physically additive. It can take control of you at any time!!!!!!

Cig ads were taken off tv and billboard ads because of the rise in young kids smoking. Hence why we don’t see Joe Camel anymore. Look at the old Flintstones when they were black and white. There is a cig ad included with Fed lighting up. it was felt that big tobacco was advertising to children.

Alcohol ads are not shown on the same channels as children’s programming or in the same time slots on weekends.

Yes underage drinking is a problem but no one is accusing the alcohol companies of marketing to children on the sly.
