Is there anywhere in New York City that is not a cigar bar where you can still smoke?
I have been to manhattan dozens of times but not since the ban on smoking there were so many great bars I went to and you would figure atleast a couple of them would still cater to smokers even if its after hours.
While I’m completely against smoking, here’s a suggestion: try a hookah bar. Those are middle eastern bars that have hookahs, which are kinda like pipes, and you suck out the fragrant smoke.

Considering that a recent study from the Incentive Federation has shown that a good corporate reward program can improve sales and production as much as forty-four percent a company can hardly afford not to have a corporate reward program.
The only reason a corporate reward program is because of the rewards.
When a company is trying to decide what rewards to offer there are a few questions they have to ask themselves first.
What is the budget for rewards? Corporate rewards programs are a booming industry. It is estimated that over one hundred billion dollars are spent on corporate rewards programs each year. The companies budget is going to play a large part in the type of rewards they are able to offer their employees. Another thing that must be considering when looking at the budget; are you going to reward individual efforts or will this be a group reward.
How often are you planning on awarding corporate rewards? The frequency rewards are going to be offered combined with your budget might be the deciding factor about the type of reward the company is able to offer.
What type of rewards are your competitors offering? If you are using your corporate reward program to reward employee loyalty it only seems fair that you offer you employee rewards that are comparable to the ones your competitor’s employees are receiving. You also must remember that new applicants often look at corporate reward programs when they are considering employment. It won’t look good if you’re giving your best employees pencils and pens while your competitors are handing out elaborate gift baskets.
A corporation can choose to offer standard gifts such as gift baskets, chocolates, and flowers to their employees. They could also opt to reward their employees with something a little more exotic like hand rolled cigars or European chocolates.
If a company is rewarding group efforts cooking classes and Maybe your employees would rather have a vote in the reward. A company could offer a list of reward options. Perhaps they should consider handing out a gift card or prepaid credit card with a predetermined denomination.
Most employees say that the rewards they prefer the most are travel rewards. There are travel plans for all budgets and taste. On a lower monetary scale a company could offer a weekend stay at a nice bed and breakfast. At the other end of the scale is an all expense paid trip the Indianapolis 500.
If a corporation is really at a lost for a reward they only have to remember one thing. Nobody ever complains about getting an extra cash bonus.
If a corporation has hired a company to design a successful corporate reward company that same company might offer corporate program rewards as a part of the package.
Whatever the reward the company decides to use it will be the icing on the cake. The true reward will be having a working environment that is full of happy employee’s who go through the work day with a sense of competitive camaraderie.

Whoever you are, wherever you arere from, well welcome you with true Southern hospitality, just as we’ve been welcoming guests since 1733.
Hip and historic, robust and refined, Savannah is where you’ll find amazing architecture, spooky cemeteries and rich history along with global sophistication, funky nightlife and fabulous food. It’s where history resonates into the present day, and where memories are still being made.
Hear jazz and blues or bluegrass. Go salsa or swing dancing. Sing along in a piano bar or puff away in a cigar bar.
We don’t roll up the sidewalks at sunset in this Southern town. Savannah offers evening tours, outdoor concerts and frequent fireworks and festivals, along with late-night hot spots.
Theoretically, you could stay out all night although we do suggest that you get some sleep to keep up with the daytime fun.
You have walked our streets and admired our beautiful parks, squares and mansions, but underneath the appealing aesthetics of this centuries old city are some historical accounts and quirky facts that helped to shape our nation.
The Pirates House, A famous Savannah restaurant, was actually a tavern frequented by pirates who sailed the Caribbean in 1794. Events at the Pirates House were the inspiration for Robert Lewis Stevensons novel, Treasure Island.
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, the John Berendt novel about secrets, socialites and murder spent more than five years on the New York Times best seller list holding the record for the longest running best seller in history.
While admiring Savannahs splendid architecture, you might start to notice a recurring colour painted on the door frames, porches and window sills of many Savannah homes.
This blue green colour, or Haint Blue, is not only aesthetically pleasing but has an important purpose, and that is to ward off evil spirits.
Haint Blue paint was first used by African Slaves to secure entry point into their houses from spirits.
According to the Geechee Gulla culture of the Low country, the blue green colour of Haint Blue represents water which, it is believed, spirits can not pass over.
Antiques, boutiques, fine art and high fashion youll find it all in and around Savannah. Surrounding our historic squares, you will find trendy shops featured in fashionable magazines, funky old stores full of fun and gallery after gallery, each different from the last.
Stroll down the cobblestone River Street for art, souvenirs, apparel and sweets.
Broughton and Bull streets form the heart of our famed antique district, where treasures of old are waiting to be unearthed.

Put This in Your Pipe and Smoke It – Top 5 Nicaraguan Cigars
Arnold Schwarzenegger. Tom Cruise. Mel Gibson. Harrison Ford. Sylvester Stallone.
Â
What in the world do all of these high-octane megastars have in common? No, they’re not all starring in Mission: Testosterone, this summer’s most muscled blockbuster. But, they do share a unique bond. In fact, they share the same connection with such historically notable folks as Fidel Castro, W.C. Fields, and even King Edward VII.
Â
How could kings, comedians, and revolutionary leaders have anything in common with the Terminator, Rambo, and Braveheart?
Â
It’s simple: They all love a good cigar! No, actually, they all love a great cigar!
Â
And, when it comes to great cigars, arguably there are none better today than those coming from rich soils and humid mountain hillsides of Nicaragua. Long having taken a backseat to the Cuban cigar-making dynasty, Nicaragua is making its mark on the international scene with the finest cigars found anywhere on the planet.
Â
Just like its booming real estate market that has rebounded after natural disasters and political unrest to become one of the best places in the world to invest, the Nicaraguan cigar industry is benefiting and experiencing a renaissance as well. From the center of it cigar revolution in Esteli to Condega and all the way out to the Jalapa Valley, Nicaragua is home to the world’s best cigar makers, tobacco, and established and up-and-coming brands.
With so many great cigars to choose from, the problem for the cigar aficionado and the newbie alike becomes not “How can I find a good Nicaraguan cigar,†but where should I even start? To help you make your way through the jungle landscape of choice, let’s take a look at five all-time favorites.
Â
5. Plasencia Organica Nesticos
Â
Profile: small cigar, mild, but rich taste
Â
Big things come in little packages! The world’s first 100% Certified Organic cigar, the Plasencia Organica Nesticos are pure handmade tobacco magic. These little cigars take advantage of Plansencia’s renowned three-year-aged, organically-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos and serve it up in a smoke-able size that allows you to enjoy big cigar flavor even when you don’t have a lot of time.
Â
4. Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970, Robusto Grande.
Profile: strong, robust, earthy, woody, big, heavy-bodied…you get the idea, this cigar ain’t messing around!
Â
This hefty all-Nicaraguan tobacco cigar was crafted to appeal to an American clientele who could no longer puff their favorite Havanas after the Cuban revolution. Let’s just call it like it is: The Robusto Grande is a big daddy of a cigar – both in size and flavor. There’s no getting around the fact that it packs a seriously rich blow with that characteristic Nicaraguan metallic twang. If you like your cigars to knock you out with a power-packed punch, this is your choice.
Â
3. Felipe II Fat Boy
Â
Profile: medium-bodied, earthy, spicy coffee bean aromas, roasted butter finish
Â
Rated 90 by Cigar Aficionado, this ridiculously rich tasting cigar by Felipe Gregorio is definitely round and robust, but has a seamlessly smooth quality that makes it a definite contender. The Fat Boy’s small, but stocky size (3.5 x 55) gives it a definite “Don’t Mess with Me†attitude. When you’re feeling like a fine fatty at a reasonable rate, find yourself a Felipe II and get ready for a taste explosion.
Â
2. Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series
Â
Profile: medium to full-bodied, long finish, perfectly balanced.
Â
If you want to feel like a celebrity, then you’ll want to take a pull on any cigar from the Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series. Made to celebrate their 30th anniversary, this line is crafted from only their best tobaccos and is often quite difficult to find. However, when you do get your hands on one, you’ll experience a masterful cigar from first spark to final ash tap. Despite the price, this is a must-have in your collection.
Â
1. Perdomo Edición de Silvio
Â
Profile: robust, delicate tones, perfection
Â
This exquisite cigar is considered by many to be one of the best in the world bar none. With a secret blend of the finest tobaccos, this is the holy grail of cigars. And, although it is by far the most exclusive (read: expensive) cigar on my list, it’s not to be missed. So, when you start making huge profits with your Nicaraguan real estate investments, you can experience a little decadence with a Perdomo Edicion de Silvio.
Â
As you can quickly see, the Nicaraguan cigar revolution is in full swing – a rich variety of flavors that is unmatched anywhere in the world. With its fascinating history, the Nicaraguan cigar story is one that can’t be missed. When you light up any of the above cigars, you’ll know that you’ve found a new favorite in Nicaragua.
