Spending a short vacation in Tampa is always pleasing. If you are young, outdoorsy, and love to explore the history and culture of America then Tampa is a great place to start from. If you are really in the mood to see the rich heritage of Tampa, taste the aromatic Cuban coffee, and let yourself loose on the rhythm and vibrancy of Latin music then you will never repent your decision of hiring a luxury limousine to cruise through the city, as nothing could be more apt and opulent then a ride on Tampa limo through the sprawling 170.6 square miles of this a Gulf Coast city of Hillsborough County.

Why should I visit Tampa?

The multi-ethnic Tampa is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Florida. The main attraction of Tampa includes “Busch Gardens amusement park”, “Seminole Hard Rock Casino”, “Ybor City,” the historic Spanish town that was once called the “Cigar Capital of the World,” and some world-class museums.

In 2004, it was chosen as the top city for “twenty something” by the New York University newspaper. Tampa was also chosen as the 5th best outdoor city by Forbes in 2008. Same year Yahoo! Real Estate declared that Tampa was the 8th cleanest city in America.

Why should I hire a Tampa limo?

Limousine services in Tampa reflect the fine taste of the city. The limo offerings in Tampa are as varied as are the multi-ethnic nature of the city itself. If on one hand Tampa offers expensive luxurious limousine cars with exquisite interior then on the other hand there are some budget airport town car services as well that take you through the heart of the city. In either case, you will get an experienced driver (if you have chosen a good limo rental company) to take you through the coolest locations in the city. If you wish, you can also ask your limousine company about the guide to give you the guided tour of the city.

What to see on a Tampa limo ride?

Before you book your ride make sure that you have done a little bit of research about what all is there to see. There are many things to see in Tampa, and what you see and what you don’t depends largely upon the time and money you have at hand. iPod in hand as I flick through the tracks I stop, the music begins to fill me head as I remember that same feeling as I did maybe 20 years ago.

London in the eighties there is nothing quite like going to London to see a musical, the excitement of that childhood trip I remember well. Early mornings here in Liverpool and the anticipation of the Pullman train journey down to Euston station in London when my father had to go on business.

My mother, sister and I were promised a trip shopping in London coupled with a musical. A sense of anticipation grew as the day went on, arriving at the Cumberland hotel while mother adorned in here fur coat discussed what seats were available for which shows. I guess it was about 1982 and a host of Andrew Lloyd Webber productions were being staged in the West End, Starlight Express, Sunset Boulevard, The Phantom of the Opera coupled with the rock musical Time or Mutiny on the Bounty. How times have changed.

Then little girls wore long dresses and ladies in cocktail dresses whilst the men wore black tie and evening jackets a really sense of occasion and like all young children my sister and I simply loved getting dresses up.

Finally the moment arrived seated in the centre circle waiting for the curtain to raise my sister on my left with mum and dad seated to my right , opera glasses in hand star struck waiting for the orchestra to play that first note. It mattered not which musical or even which theatre just those stage lights and that compelling tune that fills the theatre. On this occasion it happened to Sunset Boulevard and the curtained began to raise.

I knew from the very first time I watched my first musical that I would be a life long theatre goer and would dream of one day performing upon that stage. The music filled my head and my heart and the show began. There is no experience quiet like it and the glamour of the eighties theatre nights were there for everyone too see.

Before you knew where we were it was the interval, as the ladies and gentlemen flowed into the bar there was a silver tray with the name Warwick upon it our order already for us at the bar in the theatre, refreshments for all . Cigarettes and cigars lit the room filled with chatter of the performances while the air filled with the smell of cigars.

Five minutes ten minutes who knows soon we were seated back in our velvet seats again waiting for the final encounter. I will never forget the performance of an aged Hollywood star trying to deal with the end of the silent era a wonderful story moving and yet enlightening. The music seemed timeless and the experience will forever stick in my memory, ever show as memorable as the last ever performance unique.

Finally the audience raised the roof with applause standing clapping endlessness as the performers re-entered the stage to take there curtain call louder and louder the theatre rang with applause. Peering over the centre circle to take one last look at the stage I can remember that feeling a slight tear in my eye produced by happiness and a slight yawn as it was way past my bedtime. A family experience that once taken you would never forget.

As I lay in my bed that night I can remember seeing the lights and hearing the music melodically soothing me to sleep.

cigar canada

For many of us, casino gambling and cigar smoking go together like Frank and Bing. Generations of first-time Vegas visitors have enhanced their experience via frequent applications of cigar smoke, just like those iconic Rat Packers of yesteryear with their impeccable suits, suave manner, and constantly-replenished supplies of alcohol and tobacco.

Which made it all the more surprising, for many cigar lovers, when the Nevada legislature imposed a public-smoking ban in 2006. That ban doesn’t yet apply to Las Vegas gaming floors – there is such a thing as tradition, after all. But Atlantic City recently took Nevada’s ball and ran with it: the New Jersey state legislature has instituted a smoking ban, effective October 2008, which includes the area’s famed casinos.

All of which raises the question: where can a gambling smoker still enjoy a cigar?

Well, part of the answer depends on timing. Ontario, Canada, long a major vacation destination for gamblers, also banned smoking in casinos in 2006. This decision was particularly lamented by American visitors to the area, who took advantage of the Canadian casinos’ proximity to cigar stores that sell banned-in-America Cuban cigars (though it’s technically illegal for Americans abroad to buy Cuban cigars). Ontario’s casinos acknowledged these smokers’ concerns, successfully petitioning the province’s legislature for permission to build special “smoking shelters.” So you can smoke cigars during your visit to an Ontario casino – just wait till you’re off the gaming floor and in the outdoor shelter.

Elsewhere in Canada, consider Edmonton, Alberta – or, actually, just west of it. Though public smoking is banned in Alberta, due to a 2006 ban, the Enoch Cree First Nation has voted to exempt its own casino from this ban. So visitors to the River Cree casino can light up.

Pennsylvania remains another possibility. Casinos fought successfully to be exempted from the statewide smoking ban passed by Governor Ed Rendell in June 2008. As of summer 2008, you can no longer smoke cigars in most Pennsylvania bars and restaurants, but you can smoke in casinos located outside Philadelphia. That leaves such places as Pittsburgh (with the Majestic Star casino slated to open in late 2008), Bethlehem (the Sands Bethworks Casino, also under construction), and a handful of other locations.

The Michigan legislature recently adjourned for the summer without deciding whether not to pass a statewide smoking ban. In the meantime, Wayne County recently passed a ban that exempts casinos. This means that the non-Native owned casinos of Detroit will continue to be able to compete with the state’s several large Native American-owned casinos, which will not be subject to any statewide ban.

Biloxi, Mississippi, remains a favorite for Southern gamblers who like to smoke, owing to its lack of a statewide smoking ban. Though some larger Mississippi cities have banned public smoking, Biloxi remains a smoke-positive place, rendering its nine casinos attractive destinations for a smoker-gambler.

South Dakota casino owners, meanwhile, are relishing the prospects created by a statewide smoking ban recently passed in neighboring Iowa. According to reports in local newspapers, casino owners in North Sioux City are hoping Iowa’s ban will drive smoking gamblers to the state’s many casinos – while they worry that South Dakota might pass a similar law in the near future. After all, half the population of the United States currently lives in an area (state, city or town) where public smoking is proscribed to at least some extent – and the popularity of such bans seems on the increase. Even Mississippi’s state legislature is considering one. So light ‘em while you’ve got ‘em – and no matter where you are, whenever you gamble, check before you light up. It’s not fun to be ejected from a casino!

smoking wet cigarettes

Giving up smoking might not be as severe as you fear, and for some it may pass within a few days. However, the side effects of quitting smoking are more rigorous as your body start to recover from the damage caused by smoking. For example, a wet chesty cough means you’re getting rid of the rubbish in your lungs and it’s important not to be afraid of what may happen to you when you give up smoking. You need to focus on the positive changes while the side effects of quitting smoking. Most smokers experience some withdrawal symptoms when giving up smoking. These vary from one person to another and can include irritability, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, coughing, restlessness, disturbed sleep and mouth ulcers etc. You don’t need to worry in this situation, and may use some quit smoking help like E Cigarette. The good thing is that your body starts feeling the benefits as soon as you’ve smoked your last cigarette.

The large majority of smokers report that they want to stop but almost nine out of ten smokers state that they want to quit because of a health concern. After health reasons, the next most common reason given for wanting to give up is a financial one. Financial issue sounds quite obvious, because this is one of the reasons that people are switching to E Cigarette. E Cig as it can be refilled by E Liquid is quite cost effective in comparison to tobacco cigarette. Probably around half of all smokers make at least one attempt to stop in a given year but only about 2-3% of smokers succeed in the long term. It is not clear why some attempts to stop succeed and others do not. Smoking fewer cigarettes per day, not needing to smoke first thing in the morning and not suffering from mental health problems, or other addictions are favorable signs.

Many smokers continue smoking not through free choice but because they are addicted to cigarettes. A large part of this addiction arises from dependence on nicotine delivered rapidly to the brain with each puff. Nicotine complied with the established criteria for defining an addictive substance. Addiction does not mean that it is impossible to stop doing something; it just means that there are powerful urges and needs that have to be overcome in order to do so. Anything that can strengthen the resolve to resist these urges and needs or reduce their frequency or intensity can help in overcoming the addiction.

Medications aim to help smokers to stop by reducing the chemically-driven need to smoke while at the same time not themselves providing the same satisfaction as smoking and so not becoming the object of dependence. The assumption is that all the time that the smoker is not taking in nicotine from cigarettes the brain is gradually getting back to normal so that when the course of medication is completed, most smokers will be able to deal with the motivation to smoke without help.

What would you do when your bestfriend betrays your friendship by being intimate with your boyfriend?

My very bestfriend was intimate with my boyfriend. Then she has the nerve to tell be about it.She said she did it to show me how much of a whore he was.But she also said it was a accident. I cant seem to trust her anymore. I am not the only person in our social circle that she has done this to.She also was intimate with another close friend’s man. She had relations with him while she was taking a shower. My best friend has a sex issue, I think. She will screw a cigarette lighter. She will violate and realtionship to get her (V J J ) wet. I feel like she is the biggest slut of the new age. She not rules or regulations to what she does. I really want to continue being friends with her because of our history. But i know i can not trust her or any other woman around my new man. I am very much hurt and damaged by the whole situation. What Now?

This is NOT you best friend, and that’s not your boyfriend! If she’s done it before, she’ll do it again.. Get rid of both of them, you’ll be better off….good luck!

cuban cigars history

Roatan, and San Pedro Sula are both part of a Central American country. Honduras is a country that was badly washed out by its political history, plight of economy and even the occasional natural disaster brought about by hurricanes over the years. However, Roatan is a paradise of the holiday maker, especially for the cruise vacationers. As for San Pedro Sula, it is where the tobacco growers of Honduras live in.

Beside being one of the poorest countries in Central America, Honduras is also one of the many countries which is still unable to repay the loan from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. In some people’s view, the country is a place of poverty, crime and political unrest. This is also probably the reason why the people of Honduras are not united in thoughts and behavioral patterns. Despite all their various problems, the people of Honduras do share one common identity though, and that is their cigars.

Ever since the cigars from Cuba are banned from entering the US because of a sanctioned trade embargo against the country, cigars from Honduran have started to grow in familiarity and popularity among the people of the US. In fact, Honduran cigars have grown to become the favourite among many cigar lovers in some European countries.

If we were to trace the history of Honduran cigars, we will find that they actually had their roots from Cuba. Many tobacco farmers had decided to migrate and settle in their neighbouring country, Honduras, when they were no longer allowed to operate their businesses under the communist rule because Fidel Castro announced that all businesses in Cuba shall come under the government’s control.

Frank Llaneze, the founder and President of the Honduran-American Tobacco S.A. (H.A.T.S.A.), is one of the earlier creators of Honduran cigars. He has invented a new type of cigars that had since become very popular with the cigar lovers. He was persistence in looking for ways to create a new type of Havana tobacco by mixing it with other Caribbean countries’ tobacco species. He knew that he was in desperate need of a new variety of tobacco before all Cuban tobacco was wiped out in the Cuban revolution. After many futile attempts, he finally succeeded in growing a new specie of tobacco seeds in the Honduras’ fertile soil. This new specie of tobacco seeds were actually the offspring of the Cuba and Connecticut tobacco seeds. In today’s world, many renowned cigar brands such as Excalibur, Hoyo de Monterrey and Punch were produced by H.A.T.S.A. and they are the top cigar brands which are very popular with the American cigar aficionados.

A mixture of nuts and wood gives rise to the flavour of the well-known Honduran cigars. An aroma of spicy and woody finish topped off full-bodied taste of the delightful cigar. It is not uncommon to find a stick of Honduran cigar, which is comparable to their Havana predecessor, accompanying a toast of red wine. The American tobacco lovers find great elation in the Honduran cigars, especially since the Cuban cigars are only available in the expensive black market.

Despite being a country of great poverty, Honduras is definitely in possession of one of the world’s riches that many countries would desire to own. It is believed that in the near future, Honduras will be rid of its poverty state and become the tobacco capital of the world.

Have you noticed the picture of Colonel Sanders at KFC? They’ve made him drop about 30 pounds.?

That and not using the word “fried”….instead it’s just KFC….is a pathetic attempt by marketers to make the frachise more attractive to health concious people. I don’t like the colonels new look. He looks like he’s lost weight from some illness. Hey….you know what else they should do? Winston Churchill….Great Britains greatest statesmen? Ok….But he was overweight! Oh dear. And he drank and smoked cigars! Oh no! Let’s have all photos of him airbrushed so he’ll look like he weighs about 120 pounds. And airbrush out the cigars. History can suffer. We’ve got our children to think about. We don’t want the little tykes being exposed to any bad examples.

KFC sucks anyway. Popeye’s doesn’t slide out of your hand get your fingers all greasy.
