no cigarettes sign

I ordered a cigarette rolling machine and some papers. Will someone have to sign that is above 18?
I ordered it from herbal smoke shop and it says that an adult will have to sign for all package deliverys. But in the email with the receipt, it says orders that are 100$ or more MUST be signed. My order was not that much though.
Also if it does have to get signed, will it list what is in the box when my parents have to sign? I’m 15 btw.
Particular definitions:
Herbal smoke shop = place to buy all the things necessary to enjoy what you, as a minor, can’t buy legally anywhere. The irony: both tobacco & marijuana are herbs, but since the gov’t makes a tremendous profit from sales of the first, they keep it legal. Since they make a tremendous profit from keeping the second illegal, until they can make more profit by legalizing it, it’ll stay that way.
re: Adult Signature Req’d = releases seller/shipper from charges of contributing to delinquency, etc. Also issues of “informed consent” & “responsible party” may apply.
Reading your above question, you write that they state that ASR, but that >$100 ASR. Both would seem to apply; if the latter doesn’t, the former certainly would seem to.
Many areas/jurisdictions have long banned “paraphernalia”, esp. that which is specifically (or exclusively) used for enjoying black-market products.
In your case, even if you don’t intend to use any of that which Uncle Sam doesn’t approve, in any area that I’m familiar, you are still too young to be using tobacco; even if that weren’t the case & you only intend to enjoy some other non-classified herbal product, it would still most likely be a gray area in the law, your being below the age of what is known as “informed consent” (i.e., you’re too young to be recognized as being able to make an informed & responsible decision).
This also brings to question how you were able to pay for your order, or is it COD?
Look, please don’t take me wrong; I’m all about freedom of choice, but that’s Informed & Responsible choice. Let your body & mind finish growing before you go enjoying abusing it. My granddad died of lung cancer, & my mother died of CHF largely due to smoking. My great uncle had a portion of his tongue removed as a result of pipe-smoking & he still died of it. Even smoking “safe” herbs brings nicotine in thru your lungs (the burning of any vegetal matter releases nicotine as a by-product of the combustion, even charcoal into grilled food; I love to grill & won’t use gas or electric, but I’m much older & know the risks).
Umm… I think that your first answer was right, unless you can find someone else (older sibling?) to stand-in as “parent”. Considering how you paid for it, perhaps you can somehow return it? Is it being shipped to your home, or to a POB? How’s it being shipped, via USPS or private carrier like UPS or FEDEX? (Sometimes shipments can be refused & returned to the shipper)
Last resort, & I don’t recommend it, is simply denying you ordered it, or claiming you got for someone else as a gift, although that’s going to open up a whole new can of worms for you. I’m not going to explain how you might use a dollar bill to roll with, or that you might be able to find papers locally… there’s nothing wrong with a mistake as long as you learn from it.

Which Artist would be a Natural for Painting your life or likeness?
All artists are welcome; I was thinking of Klee, Gauguin,Van Gogh,
Andy Warhol…Heironymous Bosch, for the Metallica lovers…and why, if you care to share. I think I would lean towards one of the Dutch Masters…and not the cigars, the painters. I like the realism, and the play of light used in their portraitures at times.
I should add…in the style of…in case they are deceased.
I saw a Picasso book today…he did some “realistic” and some more…fanciful…I think the feeling of the fanciful ones fits me sometimes…
Norman Rockwell
Photorealism takes a lot of ability, talent, and painstaking attention to detail; that’s why most people don’t do it. They try to master what they see, then they get frustrated and splatter paint all over a canvas and create new rules, or a new school of thought, so they can sell it as art. On a more symbolic level, ask people what would also best symbolize their lives, and they would tell you, “My life has been difficult and required skill to get through.” It’s difficult and it requires skill. Yes, Norman Rockwell … on many levels.

Killing Rodrigues’ Autonomy Softly
Batten down the hatches – The Mauritian Prime Minister, Ti-Ramgoolam is at it again! This time around, he is pushing through yet another amendment to the Rodrigues Regional Assembly Act; prostituting yet another law, to wrest control of Plaine Corail Airport from the Rodriguan people.
This bill, we are told, is not a scantily-clad ploy to chip away at our wobbly Autonomy. No! Apparently losing custody of our airport, we are told, will somehow make it more efficient. This, we are told, is for our own good. Gee, that’s great! So, why aren’t we dancing in the streets?
After all, haven’t ministers from Mauritius visited us in numbers lately? Haven’t they shown renewed interest in our welfare and spread the good word, non-stop – just before our election? Why then, aren’t we Rodriguans eagerly carrying them on our shoulders, embracing each other and weeping openly, that we should have been so privileged?
What! Are we babes in the wood, as well as ingrates?
No, not quite! But we can hear the growling through gnashing teeth in the distance, just as we can see a cigar-smoking totalitarian toff, hell-bent on bringing us to heel, feverishly taking a sledgehammer to Rodrigues Assembly. SOS – Quixote looms large!
Yes, Ti-Ramgoolam is at it again – and lately, it seems, that his mission has shifted into overdrive. Which brings us to the ten-rupee question: how long can this domination last?
KI Skakespeare ti dire la? … De zour en zour, nou mure ek mure, nou fletri, nou disparet! (OK OK, mo fine ajoute enn ti boute) Hence, we can take comfort, not in schadenfreude, but in the certainty, that our bondage will barely endure a few more spins around the Sun.
In any case, long after decrepitude would have consigned a dribbling Quixote to the recycle bin of history – a defiant Rodrigues will still be here – for ages and ages …

Millions of would-be entrepreneurs want to sell things on eBay. EBay is the #1 home-business opportunity in the world right now, so it’s natural that many are eager to find highly profitable items for re-sale on eBay. However, it’s important to know that there are certain items that can’t be sold. Here are a dozen of them …
Some items are copyright infringement and can actually land a seller in federal prison:
1. Knock offs of music, TV shows or movies. The “bootleg” movies, for example, are often made by guys who sneak a movie camera into a newly-released movie where presumably, they crouch behind a seat and make a crummy copy. There is a large production of these counterfeit items in Asia where US laws have no power.
2. Software and computer games can likewise be copied and their sale is illegal by all US laws.
Naturally, the items above may be sold if you have a copy that you purchased legitimately and no longer want.
3, The so-called “replica” market for handbags, designer sunglasses and clothing is definitely forbidden although these items are often sold in physical stores around the US. Ironically, when attending eBay Live In New Orleans in 2004, we found a store in one of their famous markets selling replica purses that were not allowed on eBay.
4. Lazy and less-than-honest sellers often steal copyrighted material from other sellers. This has happened to me many times and eBay has a program called VERO (Verified Rights Owner) that will remove offending auctions, although there seems to be no penalty attached to the seller, which is unfortunate.
5. Alcoholic beverage sales are not allowed although a beverage “container’, especially those of wine, may be sold for its value.
6. Cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco or coupons for such items are not permitted on eBay.com.
The EBay rules for collectible tobacco and alcohol containers are the same:
* The value of the item is in the collectible packaging, not in the wine/tobacco itself.
* The listing description should state that the package has not been opened, but that the twine/tobacco within is not for consumption.
* The collectible tobacco packaging must not be available at any retail outlet, and packaging must have a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of that wine/tobacco product in the package.
* Sellers must take steps to ensure that the buyer of these collectibles is at least 18 years of age
7. Firearms are strictly regulated by US law and may not be sold on eBay.
8. Satellite and cable TV descramblers are forbidden by the Federal Trade Commission.
9. Animals and wildlife products may not be sold, which includes stuffed birds and pelts from endangered species. There are limited sales of ivory, tortoise shell, marine products and other items relating to animals. This area is quite complex and any would-be seller needs to thoroughly understand the various laws before getting involved in these sales.
10. Event tickets have state-by-state laws that make their sale complex. Some states, for instance, forbid anyone to make more than a few dollars in profit (or no profit at all) on the resale of tickets. For instance, Florida law states that tickets can be resold at no more than face value plus $1. In such states, these regulations apply only to buyers and sellers located in the same state as the actual event, meaning if a seller lives in Florida, he can’t profit from ticket sales to Florida events. However, if he lives in any of the other 39 states, this restriction doesn’t apply.
11. Listing a catalog of items that a seller offers for sale is forbidden. The only catalogs legally sold on eBay are collectible kinds, such as an old Sears Roebuck or Montgomery Ward’s catalog that is memorabilia and doesn’t offer current merchandise for sale.
12. Raffles and prizes are 100% prohibited. According to eBay, such promotions are highly regulated and may be unlawful in many states.
There are other kinds of merchandise that a seller may not sell on eBay, so carefully check eBay rules before listing anything. It’s much better to know the rules in advance of spending money that can’t be recouped.

Many novice smokers have embarrassed themselves trying to smoke a cigar with the same frantic, huff-and-puff energy that goes into cigarette smoking. But cigars aren’t cigarettes, any more than cheap beer is fine wine, and just as you’d never guzzle a fine Cabernet Sauvignon, you shouldn’t just inhale a cigar.
The first question to consider is, of course, the quality of the cigar. Handmade cigars are generally considered best. Machine-rolled cigars use scraps and bits of tobacco, rolled together, while handmade cigars use entire leaves, blended with specially-picked filler leaves to create a rich, full, subtle taste. Otherwise, remember the “wrapper rule”: cigars wrapped in darker paper will tend to be sweeter, while lighter wrappers often denote a drier taste.
The second question for many cigar smokers is whether to smoke with the band on or off. The bands, which wrap around the cigar and give the cigar’s brand name or manufacturer, was first introduced in 1850 by manufacturer Gustave Bock to set his high-quality Havana handmade cigars apart from knockoff brands. If you’re smoking in the UK, where smoking with the band on has long been considered gauche, a form of bragging, you’ll want to remove the band. Some smokers also collect bands, as a way of remembering all the different experiences they’ve had with cigars. Otherwise, it’s up to you.
The next step is to cut the cap of the cigar, which must be removed so that air can flow through. Most cigar fans have small guillotines, which cut right across the top of the cigar. (You can usually purchase one from the same place where you buy your cigars – or bum one from a friend.) Some smokers still bite off the top of cigars, an unappetizing and possibly unhealthy alternative. Cigar “punches” and “piercers” (or V-cutters) are also available. Choose the method that’s best for you, and keep your cutter sharpened.
How to light? Steer clear of paper matches, which will only stay live long enough to light a small portion of the cigar. You need a full flame that will cover the entire head of the cigar. Wooden matches may work, though it’s recommended that you let the sulphur burn off the tip of the match before lighting.
Butane lighters are free of odor and taste and are the favorite method for many smokers, as are “torch” lighters. Whatever you prefer, make sure you turn the cigar as you light it (“turn and burn,” experienced smokers say), so that the entire cigar is lit. Some aficiandos believe it’s a bad idea to let the flame touch the cigar and prefer to use a lit cedar strip, but many American smokers argue that this is just a bit of unnecessary European pretension.
Inhaling the smoke is unnecessary and dangerous. Once again, cigars are not cigarettes. You pull the smoke into your mouth and, like a wine taster, allow its flavor to saturate your palate, without allowing the smoke into your lungs. For this reason, cigar smoking is more taste-oriented and less harmful to your health than cigarette-smoking.
The taste of the smoke varies depending on the tobacco type and the sorts of flavors added by the makers, as well as the age of the cigar, the conditions in which it’s been stored, and many other factors. Regardless, the taste is richer, fuller and subtler than that of cigarettes, and many people who don’t enjoy cigarette-smoking have found that they like the taste or odor of cigars.
The cigar can be stopped from burning and “finished” later, though its taste quality quickly declines (like that of an open bottle of wine) the longer it’s left half-smoked. It’s a better idea to wait until you have time to fully savor the taste, beginning to end.
As for the aftertaste, try a drink containing citric acid (such as orange juice or lemon-flavored liqueurs), followed by a hard cheese and, eventually, a good tooth-brushing. (You’d be brushing your teeth anyway, right?) After-dinner mints can help, too.
Most of all, remember what worked this time. Cigar smoking – again, like wine – is a pleasure that should improve with age.

Many people suffer from a variety of respiratory disorders. It is important that your respiratory system remains in a healthy condition. Many people ignore the early signs of a respiratory disorder, as a result of which they are unable to control a condition that can later becomes chronic and lead to disability. For example, acute bronchitis, when neglected, leads to chronic bronchitis, a condition that causes severe, irreversible damage to your respiratory system and leaves you disabled for life. Therefore, updating your knowledge about bronchitis and its various signs and symptoms is of utmost importance. Neglect of this condition could lead to a medical as well as a personal disaster.
What is Acute Bronchitis?
Acute bronchitis is a disease of the respiratory system caused due to viral infection of the bronchial tree. In some cases, the infecting agent is a fungus. Usually, people mistake this condition to be common cold and underestimate the seriousness of it. This is the common reason why most people tend to ignore bronchitis.
Children and infants are easy prey for this condition because their immune systems are still in the growing phase and are not that well-equipped to battle the virus. Bronchitis also affects tobacco smokers and those who reside in highly polluted cities.
Treatment for Bronchitis
If the condition is acute bronchitis caused by a virus, it does not require any special treatment. All that you need to do is rest and relax as much as possible and drink plenty of fluids such as water and the juices of fruits and vegetables. If you or someone at home is suffering from bronchitis, it is highly advisable that you use humidifiers to raise the humidity in the rooms. If this is not possible, place wet towels or blankets in different areas of the house. A humid condition is ideal for the recovery of a person suffering from bronchitis.
Acute bronchitis does not last more than 10-12 days if treated properly. Usually, it is closely followed by a flue or cold. You might also cough for 2-3 weeks, and you will continue to cough till your bronchioles are completely healed and free of infection. If the cough persists, it may be due to another condition. In this case, you need to consult your physican and get yourself checked for any other medical condition. It is very important to know that acute bronchitis, if left unattended to, can lead to a condition called chronic bronchitis. This can cause intense misery and last from 3 months to two years. Moreover, it can permanently damage your respiratory system.
Signs and Symptoms of Bronchitis
You know that you are in for acute bronchitis when you experience breathlessness, slight pain and tightness in the chest, light fever, chills, persistent cough that brings out a lot of mucus, wheezing, and headache. Now, this can easily be mistaken for a common cold. Only a doctor can make out the difference. So, as soon as you experience these symptoms, visit your family doctor and get a medical examination.
A number of tests are required to determine if you are suffering from acute bronchitis or just a common cold. A doctor will study your breathing pattern through a stethoscope. Chest X-rays will be taken. Laboratory tests will be conducted to examine your mucus in order to determine if the condition has been caused by bacteria, virus, or fungus.
Recovering from Bronchitis
If you are diagnosed with acute bronchitis, quit smoking immediately. Avoid cigarette smoke completely if you want a speedy recovery. Smoke is really bad for you, so is polluted air. Ensure than the air around you is perfectly clean. You can do so by installing an air purifier or two inside your house.
Prevention of Acute Bronchitis
You don’t need to suffer from acute bronchitis. You can easily prevent it by taking a few precautions. It is important to avoid getting infected by virus, bacteria, and fungi that cause acute bronchitis, and you can do so by washing your hands regularly and giving up smoking.
Never ever ignore the signs of acute bronchitis. Visit your doctor to ascertain once and for all if what you have caught is acute bronchits or just a common cold. Don’t take the decision yourself.
The health of your respiratory system is in your control. Keep yourself informed about acute bronchitis and understand its symptoms well. You can prevent it from turning into a chronic condition simply by taking the right treatment at the right time.
