Only one Anejo cigar a year?

I just bought an Arturo Fuente Anejo cigar tonight, pretty good, but the man who sold it to me told me I could only smoke one every year. Why?
Oh, that’s weird, because it only ran me about twenty bucks. But is it just that vendors only sell them every so often? It’s not like there’s a governing body to ensure you don’t smoke more than one a year, right?

Anejo’s (and Opus) are Fuente’s rarest cigars and come out once a year – they are called Christmas Smokes because they come out right before the holiday. Most cigar shops will limit purchase to 2 sticks – come back the next day for another two and I guarantee they will be OOS. Only Authorized Fuente dealer get these smokes and are usually limited to one box of each vitola

What I normally do is go in with a friend or two that don’t smoke and each of us pick up the limit and I pay them back. – I actually have several Anejo sharks that are close to 4 years old……..

Looking for a Cigar?

Looking for a Cigar that is mild. Perhaps has a sweet taste nd does not leave that bad after taste some ciagrs leave. Also dont want one that i will wake up with the flavor tomoro.. if u know wat i mean. Any suggestions.. please leave links to the product

I smoke Fuente right now but i dont like how they are so spicy and leave a bad after taste

Some of my favorite mild cigars are Ashtons. They are smooth and mild with very good taste.

Also, cigars from the Cuban Cigar Factory in San Diego are very good, their Tradicionales are a very good, mellow smoke.

I won’t buy a cigar for under 10 dollars, unless it is a small cigar, but it’s standard size counterpart must be priced in the upper 10’s.

And smell is very important. Always (if it isn’t sealed) smell before you buy to make sure its aroma meets your needs

If it is sealed in a glass tube or something similar, it is usually going to be a good cigar, but not always. Experimentation as to your favorite brands is always a must.
