Cigarette girl costume ideas?????

I really want to be a vintage cigarette/cigar girl for halloween. I do not want to buy a cheap packaged costume, I really want to make my own. I am very handy with the sewing machine. Does anyone have any ideas on making it cute. It can be a little riskay/sexy, but not too much. I am 25 years old. Please let me know if you have any ideas, color schemes. Thanks

Little red jacket or little red shell top, princess seams, tight fit, vee neck, brass buttons. If using the shell, a little fluttery, lettuce leaf kind of frill on the outer shoulder.
Short, black, slightly flared skirt. Or short flared shorts, also known as tap pants. Mid thigh would look best.
Fishnet pantyhose, black. Or, black sheer seamed pantyhose which you might find in a dancer’s supply store.
Red or black high heels. If you can find some tiny cherries on a short stem, attach to the front of the shoes.
Tiny pillbox hat with ribbons tied under the chin, red or black maybe with sew on or glue on gold stars all around the bottom edge of the pillbox. Important: the hat should be worn tilted on the side of your head with the bow from the ribbons tied on the opposite side under your chin.
Now the hard part.
Get a rectangular box, about 10 inches deep, 16 inches wide, and about 3 inches high.
Paint the cardboard box gloss black. Line the interior with silver paper of smoothed aluminum foil.
Get wide 3 inch grosgrain ribbon, long enough to make something like four shoulder straps but long enough to make bows as well.
Glue or staple to the 4 corners of the box so that it is strong enough to hold the contents.
The box is to be worn like a dinner tray, the 16 inch side against your waist. the grosgrain ribbons should be worn with one on each shoulder so that there is a ribbon in front, and in back, and tied with a bow on the front of the shoulder.
Fill box with cigarette packs in this fashion:
two laying flat in the front two rows, one standing up in the back, close to the waist. Repeat across the box from left to right.
You will look fab.
Almost forgot:
Bright red lipstick. Not too much eyeliner. Curly hair if you can.
