ok so i was thinking on going to cuba to buy a little piece of heaven, a.k.a cuban cigars. the thing is if i leave them at a friend’s in canada and he later ships it to me, can the federal government press charges to me? also is the federal government allowed to open mailing?

I had three BOXES in my suitcase when I came back from Iraq. If they find them in customs or in the mail, they may take them, and they may not. You take the chance.

That said, I have found there are a lot more legal cigars that are a whole lot tastier than cubans. When Castro took over the tobacco farms, many of the growers left with their seeds to other countries. The ones who stayed were government controlled and don’t really care about the product.

The displaced growers are now in other countries with cuban seed, and are selling their cigars legally in the US.

Cuban cigars are the “forbidden fruit” and thus are still sought. Truth be told, they aren’t really that good.

What would also be the impacts? Farmers would switch there crops over? What would happen to street gangs that sell it? The American economy would get a very large boost if it were taxed like cigarettes.

Marijuana is not hard to find, is not hard to grow, and if it became legal, it would not be worth much money. The American economy wouldn’t make a penny, because people would grow it and smoke it their selves since its such an easy plant to grow. The only people it would hurt financial, is the drug dealers that are straight up marijuana dealers. Most drug dealers make their money off of hard drugs (cocaine, heroin etc). The amount of DWI’s would increase, the amount of people who graduate school would decrease, it would be a bad situation all around.

Over time it would effect you for sure! By the way , no one keeps to only two a day for long! Three will be OK and 5 or 6 shouldn’t hurt and heck I only smoke half a pack a day! It can and will happen! I started with 1 or 2 and 45 years later was finally able to quit but by then I was a 3-pack a day man and the damage had already been done!…Please Don’t Ever Start!!!!!!
