On any given date, there are millions of everyday people wanting to sell things on eBay. They all know that eBay is the top home business opportunity in the nation right now. It is just human natural that many are eager to find highly profitable items to sell. However it is very important to know that every single item cannot be sold on eBay. Many items can even land a person in federal prison due to resell rights and plainly violating the law.

Here is a short list of items that eBay will ban from sales:

1. The bootleg movies made by people who sneak a movie camera into a theatre and record a new movie. There happens to be a large production of these counterfeit items in Asia. The law of the United States has no power over this.

2. Computer games and software applications can easily be copied. Consequently their sale is illegal by all US laws. If you have the legal copy, then it is okay to sell. You just need to provide proof to eBay.

3. Cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco or coupons for similar items are not allowed.

4. Alcoholic beverages are never allowed for sale. However, the container itself may be sold on eBay.

5. The counterfeit market for pocketbooks, sunglasses and clothing is always forbidden. These items are sold in stores around the country, but they operate by chance.

6. Firearms are strictly regulated by US law and may not be sold on eBay.

7. Satellite and cable television descramblers are not only illegal, but also forbidden by the government.

8. Animals and wildlife products may never be sold. This includes stuffed birds and pets from endangered species. This area is highly complex and any rookie seller needs to thoroughly understand the various laws before getting involved.

9. Tickets to events are not permitted to be sold either. Even though this law varies from state to state when selling in person, it is not allowed on eBay.

10. Any catalogs of items that a seller offers for sale is strictly forbidden. The only catalogs legally sold on eBay are for collectibles. These include old baseball cards or dolls.

One thing you can absolutely do is sell products for other companies. This is known as drop shipment. What you basically do is link with another company and they will sign you up to sell items from them. You sell the items for an amount at which you choose, and when it is sold, you get the difference after taxes are taken away.

Time and time again this has been a proven, simple, and elegant formula for anybody with a few spare hours to make good profits online. It really requires no prior technical knowledge and even a complete internet newbie can succeed. You also do a bit of searching online for good drop shippers and set up a few auctions on eBay. If you do everything correctly, you will be amazed at how easy it is to make a great monthly income.

Always keep in mind that when serving as a drop shipper, there is the small eBay fee. So remember to calculate it into your budget. A very good tactic used on eBay, is to set up a bunch of very cheap auctions all around in different categories, and wait until they sell. This is actually very smart because they will add up and put more spending money into your pocket.

where to buy cocktail cigarettes

Singapore has few unique culture and things that you cannot find in anywhere in the world. I will show you 7 of them in this article.

Tissue culture in hawker centres and food courts

During lunch hour between 12.00 p.m. to 2.00p.m., if you happen to be in a hawker centre or food court, look around you. You will notice each lady will put a packet of tissue on the table. It seems that this is an unspoken rule that everybody follows. So if next time when you are looking for seat, if you notice a packet of tissue on the table, it means that seat is taken and please don’t take the seat.

Banning of chewing gum

Chewing gum is banned in Singapore under the “Regulation of Imports and Exports (Chewing Gum) Regulations. This law was created in 1992 because people disposed the gum incorrectly. Some have stuck them under MRT chairs, public areas, walls, mailboxes, keyholes or lift buttons. It had increased the maintenance cost and also an ugly sight. If you think it is ok to bring chewing gum into Singapore for personal consume, you are wrong. Under the law, you are not allowed to do that.

Certificate of Entitlement (COE)

The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) is designed by our Singapore government to control the number of cars on the road. If you want to buy a new car in Singapore, you are required to bid for the right to own a car. You can either do it yourself or via the car agents. COE biddings start on the first and third Monday of the month

The five categories of COE:

  • Non-transferable categories:

  • Category A : Cars (1,600cc and below) & taxis
  • Category B : Cars (1,601cc and above)
  • Category D : Motorcycles
  • Transferable categories:

  • Category C : Goods Vehicles and Buses
  • Category E : Open Category

Singlish

Singlish or also know as Singapore English is a mixture of Malay, Hokkien and English. If you pay more attention, you will hear them very often. You may hear it from the taxi driver, housewives, students and hawker owners. Try to pick up a few words, you won’t it may come in handy when you are visiting Singapore.

Shocking photos on cigarette box

To encourage people to quit smoking, Singapore government had enforced all cigarette boxes to bear shocking photos of the harmful effects of smoking. As a non-smoker, I can understand the motives, but in fact how effective it is. So far, among the many smokers that I had spoken to, it has little or no effect to them. But I still think that the intent is good and this is just one of the many ways to put the message across to smokers.

Singapore Sling

Singapore Sling is a cocktail that was invented by Ngiam Tong Boon for the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel in Singapore sometime between 1910 and 1915. It is available on all Singapore Airlines flights and is free on all classes of travel.

Parents volunteer work for Primary school admission

It is a unique scene in Singapore for school to allow parents volunteer to do work in exchange for a higher chance for the child to enter the Primary school. If it is a top school, many parents would fight for a place in a limited pool of volunteers. Don’t think you can find this in anywhere else in the world.

Smoking a cigar is a time-honored pastime, offering tremendous relaxation and enjoyment. You’ll even find that it can be a great social activity, as quite a few clubs and organizations can be found to join. However, smoking a cigar will require that you cut it and light it. This means that you’ll need some equipment to get started. One of the most convenient options is to choose combination units that offer lighters with a cigar cutter. Choosing to use a combination unit can offer quality, convenience and quite a bit more, as well.

Opting for the purchase of a combination lighter and cutter will necessitate knowing what type of lighter and cutting device that particular combo unit comes with. You’ll need to consider the cutter quite carefully, but you should pay equal attention to the lighter portion of the device. You’ll find quite a few different combinations on the market that can help to ensure you are able to smoke when and where you prefer, as well as offering you a quality cutting device.

The various cutters included with the combo unit should be considered carefully, as well. You’ll find that some lighters come with a guillotine style cutter. A hole in the center of the lighter allows you to insert the tip and then you simply depress the plunger to cut the tip of the cigar. You’ll also find punch style cutters and some brands even offer scissors installed within their lighters. Of course, scissor cigar cutters are oftentimes maligned, as they are somewhat difficult for a novice smoker to use correctly.

Which is the right type of lighter/cutter combination for your needs? You must know your own preferences, or you might purchase a device that does not work in the way you desire. You should determine what sort of cutter works best for you and your preferred cigars, as well as what type of lighter you desire.

You’ll also need to consider the lighter portion of the device. Do you want a single torch head? Do you want a dual flame model? Would you prefer a triple headed lighter? You’ll find all of these options available and quite a few more, so choose carefully when opting for any lighter/cutter combo.

buy romeo and juliet cigars

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

I am traveling to the Canary Islands and I want to know if it is possible to buy cuban cigars there?

I am going to the island of Tenerife. I know you can buy local hand made cigars, but I’m looking for real cubans. Like montecristo, and cohiba and romeo y juliet. Please help.

I think the US is the only place that has a trade embargo against Cuba. I was in Canada last month, and they were available everywhere. I was told not to try taking them back across the border into the US,they would be confiscated.
