I want to open a cigar lounge in NY State. Is it possible to hold a liquor license for the same location?

I know of shops in CT that have a cigar shop with a bar, does NY state liqour authority allow this?

Absolutely in fact there are many smoke shops in NY that sell liquor! The best thing to do is contact a law firm that specializes in liquor license!

Please help me with the introductory paragraph for this research paper?

I’m wring a research proposal paper on Illegalize Tobacco Uses, and I don’t know how to do the Introductory Paragraph. Can anyone help me to develop a good one???
Here is what I wrote, and it sounds kind of…weird :(
Okay….
How many people do you know that smoke? Is it a lot of people or is it just a few? Odds are that it is more than just a vew. I myself could tell the names of 20, 30, or maybe even as much as 50 people that are currently smokers. Have you ever thought that you would like those people you know to stop smoking? Or maybe you are all in favor of smoking and see nothing wrong with lighting up that stogie when you feel like it. But what if you simploy could not buy cigarettes on the open market anymore? Whoulden’t that be a pretty big incentive to stop smoking?? So here is the question, should cigarettes be illegal?

Please please help me to revise this, or you can write a BRAND NEW one if you like. Research Proposal please!!! I’m desperate :( Thank you

all you talk about is smoking tobacco what about chewing or snuff and you don’t list any reasons for one to quit smoking its just if they want to which makes me think that you smoke yourself and cant quit? also i wouldn’t argue that it causes cancer and 2nd hand hurts others because alcohol and alcohol related accidents hurt and kill a lot of people to do we make that illegal to what about cell phones? Where do we stop? Sorry to belittle that and maybe you disagree but i think you have a good start but keep it in mind.

one cigarette a month
is one cigarette a month bad for you?

i smoke one a month, sometimes two. is that bad?

The effects of cigarette smoking are measured in “Pack Years” – the number of packs smoked per day times the number of years smoked. So if you’re smoking about a pack of cigarettes per year (2 a day would equal 24 a year), the health risks would be statistically irrelevent.

As Aruba is one of the most vibrant, action-packed islands in the Caribbean, it is no surprise that Aruba is also one of the few islands where visitors can truly have fun around the clock. Aruba’s capital city – Oranjestad – is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the Caribbean and home to numerous restaurants, clubs, theatres and even casinos. As a result, tourists in Aruba can find a number of dining and entertainment options to keep the excitement going from sunset to sunrise.

The numerous restaurants and cafes of Oranjestad provide the best way to start a night in Aruba. Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner or a meal accompanied by live music, there are plenty of great options throughout the city. As Aruba attracts an array of international tourists, the restaurants of Oranjestad feature a wide variety of exotic cuisine. However, many of Aruba’s favorite eateries boast a uniquely Caribbean flavor, including menus created with fresh seafood as the focus. Many of Oranjestad’s restaurants also feature outdoor dining to allow visitors an opportunity to enjoy the island’s scenery and perfect evening weather.

After dinner, many visitors to Aruba make their way to one of the exciting live shows that are produced throughout the year. Aruba’s most popular show is the top-rated Let’s Go Latin at Renaissance’s Crystal Theater. The over-the-top musical takes the stage every Monday through Saturday at 9 PM. In addition to Let’s Go Latin, tourists can also visit numerous other stage shows throughout Oranjestad, including several influenced by the island’s rich cultural history.

When the shows let out, the next stop for the adventurous tourist should be one of Aruba’s bars or clubs. Regardless of your nightlife tastes, Aruba will have a hotspot that caters to your desires. Older travelers often visit Aruba’s classy cigar bars and jazz clubs, where top-shelf drinks can be enjoyed while soaking up Caribbean-tinged tunes. Younger travelers will want to check out some of Aruba’s boisterous night clubs for late-night dancing and locally-inspired cocktails. While some of the clubs in Aruba cater to American and European tourists with popular music and well-known drink options, there are plenty of friendly bars and dance halls that revel in the Caribbean setting and allow visitors to enjoy an exotic night on the town.

After the bars and clubs close in the wee hours, those hoping to keep the night alive can head over to the Crystal Casino, Aruba’s only 24-hour casino. Located only steps from the beach at the Renaissance Aruba Resort in Oranjestad, the Crystal Casino offers all the best table games and video machines found in the casinos of Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Even if you don’t want to put your money on the line, the Crystal Casino can be a great place to mingle with fellow travelers or simply observe some late-night excitement.

As sunrise approaches, the committed night owls begin making their way to the cafes that line the beaches of Oranjestad. Not only can you watch the sunrise over the city, but you can enjoy breakfast or coffee right on the beach. If you are waking early, these cafes and coffee shops are also a great place to plan your day in Aruba or catch up on the news.

Whether you are in search of a non-stop party or simply want to enjoy the cultured pleasures of Aruba’s nightlife, this exciting island always has the perfect adventure in store. Though there is so much to see and do during the daylight hours in Aruba, a trip to some of Oranjestad’s late-night hotspots will allow you to experience another side of this vibrant Caribbean destination.

However, you can take it one step further and spend part or your entire honeymoon in Cuba touring the plantations, factories and distilleries of the island, sampling the best brands and the most luxurious hand made verities. Sitting with your loved one sipping the best the island has to offer, or indulging in that luxurious vice of cigar smoking together is enchanting while watching the sun set over the Caribbean.

zippo lighters shop

If you are like most people who are into cigars, whether you are a novice or someone who has been smoking for years, you will find that the prospect of getting a new cigar is very exciting. You may have even saved up some money to buy a special, expensive cigar. As someone who is into cigars, you are probably aware that there are a number of “rules” that go along with cigars. Everything from using cigar cutter lighters so that you get the perfect light to your cigar to choosing the right humidor is important. One of the things that some wonder, especially those who are new, is if they should smoke their cigars right after buying them.

When it comes to whether you should smoke the cigar right away or not depends on some factors. If you are certain that the cigar shop or cigar bar from which you buy your cigars keep the cigars in the humidor all the time, then you can be assured that the cigar will have the proper moisture levels. If you have been to the shop a number of times and know their practices then you should be fine.

Certainly, most of the better cigar shops that you will find take good care of their cigars. However, this is simply not the case with all establishments. This means that you don’t know how the cigars are cared for while they are at the shop. It is advisable that you take your newly purchased cigars home and put them inside your humidor for a day or two at least. When they are in the humidor, they will regain any lost moisture and will be much more enjoyable when you smoke them. You might find it hard to wait, but the results of letting that moisture take hold will certainly be worthwhile and noticeable.

If you dont have your own humidor, you can do several things. First, you could buy one ” anyone who smokes cigars will eventually want one. Second, you could store them in a friend’s humidor. Finally, you could ask the shop if you can keep them in their humidor and then pick them up in a day or two.

Dry cigars can be very unpleasant, and that is the last thing that you want when you are excited to smoke something new. Take those few extra days to ensure that you have cigars with the right amount of moisture.

cigar don't inhale

We have all heard of the risks associated with smoking cigarettes, but what are the risks of cigar smoking? Are the risks of smoking cigars just as dangerous, or more so? According to the National Cancer Instituted, regular cigar smoking can result in a major health threat. Scientific research has linked cigar smoking with cancers of the larynx, lungs, esophagus, and oral cavity. Newer research also indicates that cigar smoking may be strongly linked to the development of cancer in the pancreas. Doctors also caution that individuals who regularly inhale while enjoying a cigar are also at greater risk of developing lung disease and heart problems.

The health threats of cigar smoking appear to increase dramatically in those individuals who smoke regularly and inhale while smoking. Someone who smokes three to four cigars each day will him or herself at eight times the risk of developing some kind of oral cancer than a nonsmoker. Unfortunately, we do not yet know the health risks of smoking the occasional cigar. It seems clear however that smoking cigars on a daily basis can pose serious health risks.

Many individuals wonder if cigars are as addictive as cigarettes. Many wonder why, for instance, so many people become addicted to cigarettes, and not cigars? The truth is that any tobacco product can become addictive because it contains nicotine. Witness the effects of smokeless tobacco products on individuals. These products, such as chewing tobacco, can become very addictive, simply because they contain tobacco, which in turn contains nicotine. Many cigar smokers do not inhale deeply, thus causing the nicotine to be inhaled superficially. Cigarette smokers tend to inhale, causing the nicotine to be absorbed faster and more readily by the lungs. Even though most cigar smokers inhale the nicotine more superficially, it is still possible to become addicted if the user smokes cigars on a regular basis.

If nicotine is so addictive, why don’t more cigar smokers smoke more often? It appears that more people avoid becoming ‘hooked’ on cigars for several reasons. The most obvious reason is that the nicotine is inhaled much more superficially than in regular cigarette smoking, causing less nicotine to be absorbed by the body. Also, cigars are not as readily accessible as cigarettes. They are viewed by most as a luxury item, saved for special occasions and used infrequently. However, when cigars are smoked on a regular basis, they can become addictive. The health risks of any kind of smoking increase dramatically as frequency of use increases.

chicago cigar bars
Where can I smoke a cigar in Chicago?

I’m looking for either cigar bars, or bars/restaurants/lounges with a covered/heated outdoor smoking lounge. Thanks!

There are no more restaurants or bars in Chicago that you can smoke anything in. Your only choice is smoking in a cigar bar like Iwan Ries – http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=iwan+ries%2C+chicago&aq=f&oq= or Hubbard/State – http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=hubbard+state%2C+chicago

For real though, some dope keeps suggesting Michael Jordan’s restaurant which actually changed to Sammy Sosa’s over ten years ago and then closed almost right away. Maybe they’re thinking of Ditka’s which being a restaurant, can’t allow smoking anymore.
